    New Exam Date Released by SSC for Stenographer C and D Exam 2015

    New exam date has been released by Staff Selection Commission for Stenographer C and D Exam 2015. Candidates who applied for this job have to check new dates released by the commission. SSC Steno Exam 2015 which was about to held on 27 December 2015 is now will be conducted on 24 January Exam 2015. This year 50 tentative vacancies in Grade C and 1014 posts in Grade D posts tentative vacancies will be filled by this and selected candidates will be hired by several government departments.

    Exam Overview :

    Exam consist of adjective type questions of multiple choice as followed

    Section A- General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 questions): 50 Marks

    Section B- General Awareness (50 Questions): 50 Marks

    Section C-English Language and Comprehension (100 Questions): 100 Marks

    Exam Marks : 200

    Exam Time : 10 AM – 12 PM

    Candidates will get the question paper in both language English and Hindi.

    Skill Test:

    All the candidates who cleared the written examination will eligible to appear skill test and The skill test will be compulsory for all selected candidates. Candidates can choose the languages of their choice in the skill test. However, if they are choosing English, then they will be required to learn Hindi Stenography or vice versa post selection. The skill test will be only qualifying exam and there will be no marks allotted to it. The candidates should transcribe on computers for Stenographer Grade D in 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi) and for Stenographer Grade C in 40 minutes (English) or 55 minutes (Hindi). The Staff Selection Commission has its headquarters at New Delhi. At present, there are seven Regional Offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. Each Regional Office is headed by a Regional Director and each Sub-Regional office is headed by a Deputy-Director.
